A Season of Magic and Partnerships: Holiday Highlights at Rejoice

At Rejoice School of Ballet, we believe in creating opportunities that inspire, challenge, and uplift our dancers. This holiday season, we’re celebrating the magic of ballet and the incredible partnerships that make dreams come true for our students.

Rejoice Dancers Shine in Nashville’s Nutcracker

Our long-standing partnership with Nashville Ballet continues to open doors for our students, providing scholarships, performance opportunities, and discounted or free tickets to world-class productions.

This year, we are overjoyed to announce that former Rejoice student Kambria Ayers will take the stage as Clara in Nashville’s Nutcracker! Kambria, who received a full scholarship to the School of Nashville Ballet, follows in the footsteps of Rejoice alumni like Eva Pregont, Clara Weedman, and Emmaline Weedman. These talented dancers began their journeys with Rejoice and earned scholarships to continue their training at Nashville Ballet.

“Partnerships like this broaden a young dancer's knowledge. Participating in professional productions inspires budding ballerinas, challenges them to work harder, and builds confidence.”

~ Sharyn Mahoney, Executive Director

This December, several current Rejoice students will also take the stage as part of Nashville’s Nutcracker youth cast. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Catch these talented performers in roles such as Party Girls, Mice, Russian Dolls, and Garden Fairies:

  • Olivia Armstrong

  • Irys Atkinson

  • Selah Frohock

  • Abigail Hayden

  • Lily Lutz

  • Isabella Pedro

  • Lucy Prather

Experience the magic at TPAC’s Jackson Hall, accompanied by the Nashville Symphony. For tickets and details, visit Nashville Ballet’s website.

A New Collaboration: The Mini-Nutcracker

This year, we’re also thrilled to partner with Centennial Youth Ballet, providing another fantastic performance opportunity for our dancers. Several Rejoice students will shine in Centennial’s The Mini-Nutcracker, a charming production perfect for families.

Congratulations to the following Rejoice dancers cast in this delightful show:

  • Kleo Currie

  • Valentina Diaz

  • Jaycie Krueck

  • Jamie Krueck

Performances will take place December 13–15 at Harpeth Hall School’s Frances Bond Davis Theater. For more information, visit Friends of Metro Dance.

Celebrating Growth and Success

The accomplishments of our dancers are a testament to the dedication of our students, families, and partners. Alumni like Emmaline Weedman, who graduates this spring with a BFA from Butler University’s prestigious dance program, inspire our current students to dream big and work hard.

We are incredibly grateful to both Nashville Ballet and Centennial Youth Ballet for offering these transformative experiences. Your support makes it possible for Rejoice dancers to shine on stages across the city and beyond.
